Looking for anyone in the UK making custom bars for a DJ bike like these
null

I can get a set made in the US (Matty/Stoutbikes on Pinkbike), but with the resurgence of UK frame builders lately is anyone doing something similar over here (at non "artisan framebuilder" prices...)

I did come across a custom bar builder creating some Steel and Ti versions of this type of BMX/MTB riser

Can be ordered online from him direct so , like Robin at RUST components

They’re not cheap though but there’s always Surly’s £70 version

Okay great, who was it? Rust?

Seen those but the backsweep and upsweep are all wrong for Dj use.

Not UK but what about asking Marino if they can make some? Given their frame prices are reasonable i suspect the bars would be too. Shipping might be a bit steep though.

Sure if Marino did some he'd bung them in with a big frame order to save on costs. Other than that surely a framebuilder can do something?
Maybe 18 Bikes? Might be a bit iffy regarding strength/warranty/liability from a proper shop though?

There's a guy I know who had a stint making steel trials frames and currently builds custom steel bucket seats. Can ask him if he can help?

There was a trend for using very cut down mini-mx bars for a while, the sort usually found on 80cc kids bikes.

Ted would be able to help out I'm sure:

or the folk at The Bicycle Academy are well connected and could point you in the right direction.

I would speak to Pat Banks of Limit Fabrications in Norwich.

He has a BMX background, is a top chap and I'm sure could whip up something like that no problem

Just any any local fabricator if you have a decent drawing of what you want.

What you want is a set of Stooge Junker bars.

Surely the only reason to run a bar shaped like that is to run a bar pad.
