Long story short; I'm rebuilding my brother's bike for him as he's pretty much destroyed it.

I have some old wheels which came on my Voodoo Limba, with 10 speed 105. Thought they'd be perfect but a) they've got that damn fool 10-speed only freehub variation with the taller splines and b) they're Formula OE hubs so finding parts is bloody impossible.

I had some 8-speed bits that I was going to fit (his old kit was 8 speed too). But now I guess I have only a couple of options, unless someone has something clever?

1) Get a load of 10 speed bits for his bike. Not really an option tbh
2) Replace the whole hub. Would be massively annoying
3) Pull off some sort of Formula parts miracle and find the correct freehub
4) Try and machine down the freehub I have to normal spline height so it can take other cassettes (I have a tiny, shit lathe so it's not really ideal)

Any other suggestions to try?
