"An Indian restaurant in Edinburgh has been told to cool down its annual curry eating contest after two people were admitted to hospital"
One has a dodgy tikka and the other is in a korma
Hospitalised after a 'hot' korma, for shame. A serving of WTFU required there.
The busier curry houses in Edinburgh dish up some very lightweight curries IME. I like a reasonably hot curry, nothing crazy. Always had to specify that I wanted a proper madras, not the typical peelywally fare they serve up to tourists.

igmc.
Of course with Korma being a method of cooking where no water is added until the end and not the creamy slop dished out in "Indian" restaurants, a Korma could be any level of heat.
Says pedant Rob the food snob.
+1 @ Jedi.
Fresh chillies a go-go, chilli powder just burns!
Your korma pun was second to naan
a real korma has no cream etc... coconut milk. very close to a thai
Word is that the Chef Dan has been sacked.
