Seeing the 'Riding in the Taunton area' thread made me wonder what the conditions are like in The Quantocks currently?
Weather is meant to be nice tomorrow, and I'm on holiday 😀 so if it's not too bad I might head up.
Wet I would imagine. Dartmoor had 5" of rain this weekend and the quantocks probably got nearly as much.
Yeah, I imagine it will be. Haldon was very wet yesterday. The Quantocks do seem to hold up quite well when it's wet though.
as you're on holiday, i imagine you're around on thursday....?

It's fine I live just down the road and was riding there on Saturday it's rained a bit today and yesterday but not much , it'll be muddy in a few places but 95% will be fine.
Hi Del, hoping to be 🙂 I'm going into school to do some coursework moderation on Wednesday. If I get done what I need to get done then I'm planning on coming up.
I'm sure it'll be fine I'm at work at the moment and I'll be riding home along the ridge from Crowcombe Gate to Lydeard Hill on the CX bike first thing. 🙂

A bit sloppy in places, but almost dusty in others!
