Off to Glentress later to take a friend night riding for the first time, just wondering where is best to park? We'll be setting off riding about half four then back about six-ish. I'm guessing the main car park gets locked up at about five?
Any pointers appreciated.
Bottom carpark isn't locked at all, unless something has changed in the last couple of weeks.
Locked? They dont lock the carparks afaik... we've always driven in and out at whatever times we fancy.
Grand, just what I wanted to hear, I've only ever been during the day so wasn't sure.
The 2 "overflow" carparks- that is, the old Hub carpark and the one closest to the road- do get locked sometimes. Main Peel car park doesn't. The ones further up the road- Red Squirrel, Buzzard's Nest- can sometimes have the roads closed in bad weather but shouldn't be an issue just now (road was impassible with ice recently)
