Thinking of going Saturday....what's it like under tyre?
Going in an hour...no rain since er, probably last Thursday. should be lovely and bit cooler too.
Rode FtD yesterday. Its rideable but with puddles everywhere. The Monkey section will probably be Muddier. It usually gets soaked up pretty quick, so if it doesnt rain before sat it should get better.
Rode up there last night rode well not much standing water glad i changed to my mud tyres areas on the monkey tend to be on the sticky side.All good though i find cannock rides better wet, upper and lower cliffs when dry no grip at all on the sea of stones in the berms.
Lots of puddles but otherwise ok
As said above better grip in the wet
They have drained and repaired some of the berms on tackeroo
Is there a diversion in place on the monkey? If so how much does it cut out?
One of the minor decents, longest fire road and uphill bit.
Still picking out sand from last night ride, as it was damp, but at least mud is something you really don't have to worry about on the main trails
