Been thinking of investing my hard earned cash in a new steed. Studied form for a few weeks and now seriously considering a Cube Stereo Race. Anyone got one ? Any comments, positive or negative that may help me make up my mind ?
10% off at Tredz is helping at the moment but genuine user feedback would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Cheers cubemeup.
Anyone else got any advice or comments ?
I got a 2009 Stereo The One (same frame as the 2010 model, not sure about the 2011 ones). Great value for money and an absolute dream to ride. Handles well, climbs well and is an absolute blast on the down bits. I consider getting a slightly sturdier wheel set but other than that I am very, very happy. The low bottom bracket has not really been an issue for me.
I know that some people don't like the position of the rear shock as it is right in the firing line of the rear wheel. The optional Cube Muddy Board certainly helps and is all I use to protect the shocks. Alternatively you can fashion or buy some form of shock protector.
One word of warning: The Fox shocks require regular air sleeve maintenance (8-40h of riding, depending on whether conditions). This can be done at home using the appropriate Fox RP23 Air Sleeve Kit (~£10). In addition Fox suggests sending it to a certified dealer (e.g. mojo.co.uk) once a year for a complete overhaul (~£100). In my opinion worth it though.
I think CRC has the 2010 Stereo The One at a 25% discount at the moment.
Hope this helps.
