Mine turned up from Stif today, had the day off work so i could have a play. FedEx didnt deliver till 5:10 gutted, but really happy once i built it up. One thing I noticed is it didnt come with the Eastmen stem but the Syntace F149 which is from the SL not the Pro which I have.
Went for a blast tonight on the roads and cant beleive how quick it is, also breathed a sigh of releif as I ordered the 21" without trying and was worried it would be to big but the fit is perfect.
very very happy
At the risk of asking a silly question, will this fit straight in the existing press-fit bottom bracket?

after a bit more riding;
Still faster than anything else I've ridden off road
Bottom bracket had to be serviced, but chain still not broken
Nose of saddle wearing out now
Torn the Racing Ralph twice (too much for the Stan's sealant!)
Have taken off the lock-out and the indicators on the shifters
Going to try Specialized 2bliss tyres instead
@JPothecary How did you get on with the Maxxis?
Anybody running tubeless without a Stan's rim strip?
Still faster than anything else I've ridden off road
Yep, definitely agree with that!
Also removed the shifter indicators.
Just switching to 2x10.
Sram PC1091 Chain.
Swapped the Scwhalbe's for Conti X-King 2.2's.
Swapped the seatpost clamp to stop the post sliding down.
On the second set of brake pads.
Still love the bike, it's a weapon!
The new 2013 bikes are on the Cube website and I have to say that this years bike is no where near as nice as last years, and it weighs almost 1kg more
Yes, very quick bike. Blasts along. No problems since set up. Really like this bike.
How's everyone getting on with their bikes over the winter? Mine has been in the garage for the last few months, but will breaking her out again today due to my winter HT having mechanical issues. Got some Beavers fitted to it now so we'll see how they are in the snow.
My 2013 GTC SLT is in the LBS ready for collection...... 😀
Not done many winter miles to be honest but still very happy with the bike.
Stayed with the Conti X-Kings, fitted a 24/38 XT chainset and swapped the bars for Niner Flat Tops.
Also fited a Thomson seatpost clamp to stop the post from continually sinking...
Has anyone fitted a reverb to one of these? Or is this a mortal sin in the xc fraternity?
I'm considering swapping to a Reaction GTC SL - it's impossible to get a demo bike though - had a sit on one and I need a 19" frame.
Anyone in the north (harrogate) up for a ride around somewhere & willing to let me have a go on theirs?
How are you getting on with these?
Im thinking about a 2013 reaction pro 29er.
rode my carbon one all winter which took it's toll on the BB, headset, wheel bearings and gear cables, as well as the usual cassette and brake pad wear, but that's kind of fair enough. Still love it though and would recommend them.
love mine, not riding it as much as I'd like this year. As above headset and bottom bracket need replacing, but thats after a lot of abuse.
Anyone had any issues with the dropouts wearing and causing the back wheel to point in off to one side? It's almost rubbing on the non drive side chain stay and miles away from the drive side.
I've just had the wheel dishing done. No problem with the wheel
