[Closed] Cube acid or attention sl?

My 2nd bike is currently a spec hardrock from 2009 which is like to replace

Im looking at the 2016 acid or attention sl (29ers)

I prefer the look of the attention sl especially in green but the acid seems to have a few better components like the brakes

I guess my question is, do you think the acid worth the extra £40 bearing in mind it doesnt look to me as nice as the sl?

Also im thinking the 17" for me with 32 leg and 5ft8 looks like the right size?

I have a 2013 acid (26" flavour so can help with sizing). Looking at your choices I would be tempted to go attention as it has the recon fork, basic, but has served me well and being a rockshox it easy to service etc. And if I am not mistaken the stanchions are 32 vs the manitou's 30. Other than that I don't see anything that would make me pick one over the other component wise. Save the £40 and buy new tyres with it 😉

thanks for your input... so the rockshox on the attention sl might be stiffer?
