A mate of mine turned up with one, we all pointed and laughed (as we do), but it worked pretty well for about ten minutes, then snagged on a branch that everyone else rode through, and smashed into bits. The remainder of the ride was filled with lots of laughing and pointing, and speculating as to whether Steve Peat rides near branches.

Complete junk and an utter waste of money. Bought one when they first came out, used it twice, it did nothing other than look gash. Bender fender along with a crud catcher works better.

I had a bender fender and found it to be rubbish , I'm using a crud catcher and a neo guard at the moment which are great for 90% of my riding but on the really fast bits spray gets past them and I hate wearing riding glasses . Years ago I had a marzocchi mud guard and that was the best I've used until I crashed and it snapped so thought the fast fender would hopefully do the same job.

Rapid Racer + Mucky Nutz + Crud Catcher = 0 mud

Don't use a rear guard, they look gai. Mud up your back = cool as ****.

the new bender fenders appear to be longer and stronger (at the back) - was impressed when i fitted my new one last night

I still wear riding glasses but on the one occasion when I took the BF off i got so much grit and spray thrown up that I had to stop to clear em - without the glasses I'd have had a nightmare
