Is it possible to convert a 20mm Crossmax ST 20mm to 15mm? There is a converter made by Risse in the US for $40; but they want $75 to post it.

Is there a UK based alternative?

Is it? It isn't listed in the bits that come with.

The QR version does list 15mm and Qr adaptors, hence my scepticism.

No it doesn't Jedi, not with the ST's. Mavic sold them as 20mm only or 15mm qr only.

Mate of mine converted some XL's by milling out the qr adaptors to 15mm, it worked but it wasn't ideal as it slowly wears the bolt thru where the caps contact the shaft.

The Winstanleys link is for 2012 hubs; not the same.

The Risse racing link is the one I mentioned in the OP. Postage is ruinous.

anc- if they were QR to 15mm it would be fine. It's the other way.

So - not straightforward then.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, the xl's came 20mm or QR. He got the QR caps milled out too 15mm, worked as I say but not ideal. But as your 20mm ST's don't come with the QR adaptors it doesn't really help you.. Just saying it is doable. Would have thought those 12 versions will work as all the measurements are the same. Worth checking out.

Exactly. If they were QR it wouldn't be an issue.

The ST 2012 hubs are different. They now use the same hub as the SX; so not a drop in part. Where have you found the measurements?

I asked them about the postage price, and they said it was a cock up on the website and if I emailed them my details they'd send them out for a normal postage price, worth a mail to check..
