What's the best/cheapest way to do it? Not bothered what time we travel so if 1am is cheapest we'd do it. Haven't done it for a couple of years and it seems the prices have jumped somewhat, any tips for getting cheaper fares?

Tunnel can be cheap if you travel early or late or book well in advance. I buy blocks of 10 crossings and it costs me under 80 quid return.
