[Closed] Crete mountain biking

Where are you staying? I'm going to Crete in October and could do with some recommendations too.

Bali towards Rethymnon. Where you off to?

I'm currently in Kritsa and know the area reasonably well. I see no one riding anything other than up & down mountain roads.
My guess is there's good stuff but it's not seen as rideable - walking paths etc.

I'm here for the Kung Fu, not the riding 😁 Must bring a bike with me some time...

Platanias, near Chania.

You’ve got the Lefka Ori near there. The E4 route runs through them so you can head Sougia way or go up past the Killergi mountain hut and head into the heart of the mountain range. I tried to do Pachnes many years ago in July but was too much snow on top for biking alone.

get to the Ride Cafe in Chania. Bloody briliant.
