Hi there,
Anybody have experience of running Stans 29er Crest rims? I've just bought some and am having a real nightmare getting tyres on, Schwalbe and Bonty are so tight they are breaking tyre levers!
Anybody managed to get these on and if so what tyres are you running???
Help, advice much appreciated!

Welcome to the club! Do a search on the forum as many others have had similar issues and you will be able to see best way to fit tyres.
I think it's Stans rims in general. I just had some 29er Flows built up and getting on my Schwalbe tyres was a nightmare. I dread having a puncture while i'm riding as it'd be difficult to get the tyre off by the road.
Some tyres are better than others though and i think Stans have a list somewhere on their site.
Use the recess in the centre of the rim properly and all will become clear! Watch the Stans video on their website. It sounds numpty, but it works.
