Hi all
I'm looking for some ideas (and pics). I'm using one of those Chinese lights on my bars for night riding and i'm impressed, however i want to put one on my helmet.
Does anyone have some advice for the best way of fitting it. The helmet mount that comes with the light is useless.
Cheers
Im using the same lights and mount one on my helmet. I've used the headmount strap supplied along with two zip ties. The wire then runs through the helmet and i place the battery pack in my camelback. I'll email you some pictures. The helmet im using is a giro hex and the pair work well together.
If it's one of these:

I just cut the elastic of the head mount, "I'll never use the head mount", and cable tied it to my helmet. Forward of top center to help with balance.
*The last two evenings I've been cutting and stacking wood for the stove with my bike helmet on. And yes I look a pillock.
Head mount zipped tied to helmet wih straps removed* here too.
* Before you cut the straps off, see if there are slots in the mount plate so you can remove them without cutting. There was on mine, which I didn't see until after cutting them off...
yup , zip tie the shit outta that thing.
Thanks for the replies people, looks like there are a few ways,
Cheers
