Im mid ride on my genesis vagabond and cant take no more! Built my vagabond up 12 months ago and fitted an fsa orbit headset. Now it is constantly creaking when going over bumps. Tried loosening and re-tightening everything but no joy, driving me nuts!!

Any ideas from those of much greater knowledge and experience out there?

replace the headset? they're not that pricey but are you sure it's the headset? sound can travel espicially when you're sitting all the way up there away from everything that moves.

where axle meets the forks?
where the cables meet the frame can rub too.
even cables rubbing each other can make noise.

I am a right plum!

After Jekkyl's suggestion it may be a referred noise i did another squeaky ride this morning and decided to ride in some unorthodox styles (more so than usual!) To pin point the noise, and concluded it was coming from the saddle.

I then removed the saddle and seatpost, greased everything, re-assembled and it still creaked!!

It was only then i googled 'brooks b17 creaking' at which point i sprayed the nut at the tip of the saddle with wd40, jobs a good un.

Ill get me coat ๐Ÿ˜ณ
