[Closed] Creaking Horizon Pedal

Changed the bearings and bushings on my Nukeproof Horizon pedals a few weeks ago, but they’re now clicking again when pedalling hard.

They’re fully tightened up, but there seems to be some vertical movement near the crank (ie if you grab the pedal you can push it up and down a small amount on the crank side).

Any ideas on this? My only thought is that the axles need replacing, but I may be wrong.

Cheers,

JP

It's either the axle or the pedal body is worn 🙁 ! You can usually see the wear on the axle.

Aren't the Horizons the spendy metal ones?

I do like my plastic NP's but they all end up with wear on the inner bush but they aren't replaceable on the plastic ones are they?
