Me and my LBS are puzzled with a creaking noise from my front wheel.
With the brake pads locked on, the wheel can rock back and forth very slightly making a dry creaking noise.
We have eliminated pads, forks, bike, and rotors by placing the wheel in a new bike with a new rotor.
The hub is a 1yr old XTR and has no play and runs super smooth, the wheel was built up new at the same time.
Any ideas?
