It's driving me mad - I'm pretty sure its the saddle, although I'm using a carbon post so could be that too.

Has anyone else had similar problems with the spoon?

Can anyone recommend a comfy squeak free saddle?

Tighten the clamp until it snaps.

That should do it.

its likely to be the rails where they go into the seat base. Try a spot of chain lube etc - stopped mine creaking

Had the problem with my Knife, which has a more flexible base, so is probably worse. Seemed to develop with age, and lube on the rails did little. About to chuck it anyway since I've since bent the saddle rails in a tumble.

Cheers for the replies - I'll try a bit of chain lube and see what happens. Lube the carbon seat post too or is that a nono?

As others have said, where the rails meets the saddle base is a good place to start.

Of course it might be something in the saddle vicinity that's creaking...
