So - what could it be...?

Bontrager Race X Lite Riser Bar
Thomson X4 Elite Stem

Just started to creak... (on a mate's bike so will find out when exactly it happens tomorrow)

Obviously googled it....

Anyone else had this issue - and if so, how did you fix it?

Cheers...

...ok.... just got an update- almost totally sure it is bars - but not 100%... describes it as bars us just below - happens on singletrack when travelling over bumps!

Stripdown and clean all bar clamps, shifter and brake clamps, clean bars thoroughly and then inspect them at CLOSE range for any possible damage.
If nothing obvious, put back together and see how it goes.

Had the same setup, although I thought it might have been the headset creaking.
Just remember when you take everything off, clean, check and then put back on - don't over-tighten your lockon grips and then crack the bars, DOH!
