I want a new groupset for my main bike and retire what is on to a second bike. All bits currently sitting in the basket at £340.

I have a couple of £20 vouchers from Christmas presents and think I have a fiver off for signing up (recent new email address).

So, should I just go ahead now or will I regret not waiting until the new year when (if) the sales are better?

When is best ?

When you can afford it and after joining british cycling and quidco/topcashback

Things will always get cheaper but you can be riding in the meantime

When you've checked Wiggle/Merlin/Ribble/eBay and the german sites and realised that CRC are actually worth the extra 50p or so :O)

Might be worth splitting the order. You can get £5 off £50 fairly easily.

Whatever/whenever you do, stop looking once you've done it.

You may still get cheaper by not going to CRC (even with your vouchers)

The 10% discount is now only on purchases over £99 at CRC once a month. Not that amazing considering they offer that kind of discount for nowt quite a lot of the time anyway. Certainly £10 off baskets over a certain value.
