If you click through from the site to CRC (for example - it works with loads of other internet shopping sites) then usually within 24 hours, your transaction will first track, then become confirmed and finally payable. This does take a while - a few months in most cases - but over time, and if you consistently use it for your web purchases, a big chunk of cash will build up.
It's good for the bike stuff you'll be buying anyway, but factor in eBay, Tesco, insurance, mobile phone contracts and other boring stuff, and it really adds up. HTH.
