Hi All,
I need a new bag as I have bought a 29er.
I really want an Evoc but they are not cheap and a 2nd hand one is hard to come by. So the CRC one is an alternative option. I would be interested in folks views and opinions of either.

Use an evoc 29er bag every year for the annual euro bike trip, they are expensive (I hire every year) but they have the good rep for a reason. Very easy and bike safe without being too weighty.
I pay £40 for a week and don't have the hassle for storing it.
Do you plan to go away enough to warrant buying?

I have always had a bag as I have travel bit. I have two weeks in Spain this year and am off to South Africa next year so at £40 per week that's £160 so probably might as well buy one.

I'm in the same boat. There was a decent review on enduro mtb website of a number of bags including the crc one which is probably worth a look. The result was essentially that the Evoc one is the best but the others were almost there bar a few niggles.
