just had to que at the post office to pick up my new calliper seal kit from crc.
reason- it would not fit through the letter box

My last couple of orders have come in jiffy bags, so they're obviously listening to feedback about the silly boxes.

I started ordering from wiggle even if bit more because despite me specifying it in comments for order bit every time that I'd prefer an appropriate sized box it never happens.

That said if I had a bit more cash than that I'd just buy from an independent (but not the ones where I live)

Deliveries are always a nightmare, so I usually get them delivered to work.
This week, as I'm off work, had a delivery at home and they turned up when I had to pop out for a few minutes.
Had to wait till the next day and pick it up from the post office.
Rapidly coming to the conclusion that they hide at the end of our road and wait for us to go out ๐Ÿ™

The only thing that makes the whole experience worthwhile is when you (finally) open the box and get your mitts on some new shiny bits for your bike. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stopped using CRC for this exact reason. I had a set of hope seals delivered in a shoe size box and had to wait 3 days to pick them up from the post office.

@Kona TC, My LBS still considers V brakes to cutting edge, asking them to order a set of seals for a pair of Mono M4's would completely confuse them. I sh!t you not... ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

not really, if you get it for free, then why do you care if you box includes plenty of oxygen?

A week before xmas, could have run out of jiffy bags etc, have set box sizes for their couriers.

Shop elsewhere.

OP may have saved 5p but how much time/petrol has it cost him?
