[#2831708]

i'm toying with the idea of getting a bike bag instead of having to ask at a bike shop each time i want to lug the bike on a train of flight.

is the CRC bag any good? or any of the other bags on CRC?

limit is bout 100 quid, give or take.

cheers....

For 70 quid you can't go wrong, I use mine all the time, stick the bike in it in the back of the car, keeps the car clean and I store it in the house in the bag too. Good vfm IMO

mmmm... but is it tough enough to stand up to the baggage handlers?

Nothing is good enough to withstand a determined baggage handler at the sub £100 mark. The CRC bags with separate wheel bags are the best I've used though.

It's good enough value for money. After a couple of flights, mine has multiple duct tape repairs but still holds together well enough I suppose. The wheels are a waste of time though.

Yeah good for the money
I use the wheel bags all the time to take into hotels when working away (frame locked on car boot), keep back of car clean or stand on when getting changed in car park etc
