I've given up browsing any of the crc sales, their policy of discounting clothes for giants and odd sized componants just leaves me cold, it's like a bike tkmaxx or tinternet jumble sale. I just use them for essentials, so it's been good news for my lbs. Good luck to those that can find a bargain there, and I've always had good service from crc.

I just had a quick scan through. Like theboatman says, they have discounted the odd sizes that not many people want.

CRC....the DFS of the bike world.

Except that DFS has, and will, never have anything I would remotely wish to purchase.

I was about to start a thread on this, I can't really see anything worthwhile so far. Quite disappointing really. Any of the internet retailers do a decent January sale? Few bits and bobs I'd like....

Do you really think any of them are holding back at the moment?

Yes. I had a Revelation and swapped to a DT and preferred the DT (though at the time the DT was quite a bit lighter, now they are equal. Also now DT uses 15mm axles in all models while I had a 20mm one.

Both good forks.

And to the topic... I find trying to browse CRC "discounts" is one of the most tedious things existing. Their web pages are mainly ok, but regarding sales it's a joke. Anything that looks like you'd want it ends up being all the wrong sizes on discount (and most much more expensive).

They should really do something about it. I must have ordered from them 30-40 times, but every time I try to browse those discounts I end up not ordering. This even if I had something in mind when I started, I'll forget by the time I reach it.

DTs are vastly superior to RS in terms of performance, but as for longevity I cannae say.
