[#2523261]

Im a fan of CRC - but was a bit miffed when I ordered a 45 pound helmet and did not get the discount.

When I contacted them they explained its only eligible for 50 quid and over purchases, its only when I re-read the voucher I saw the small print at the bottom. 😳

They wouldnt budge either when I explained the mistake/ good customer etc.

Ah well.....

It's expired now anyway, did you not notice the date?

Seems fair enough to me. My voucher clearly stated the terms.
Mind you, ordered Monday morning, all items in stock, but still showing processing so not yet dispatched. Perhaps there is a catch after all!

The print isn't that small to be fair.

but you could always send it back for full refund.
I'm getting a voucher off them every week at the moment.

You really did have to read the small print on the last Wiggle 15% off when you spend £50 voucher.
It was only 15% off the list price and 2 of the things I looked at buying were already reduced. It's only when it went to checkout and then only reduced the price of one of the items I had in my basket I realised.
Order cancelled!

Umm... did you not notice the amount you were actually paying before completing the transaction?

I'll admit that I didn't notice the £50 spend until I went to checkout and was forced to go back and buy more things 😀

Hopefully my neighbour took delivery today as the order was placed on the 27th.

I would have taken it as 100% my fault but the thing was when it wouldnt take my voucher I called them up and explained what I was buying, how much it was etc they said they would refund the 10 quid when I bought it ❓

Anyway I am putting it down to misunderstanding but the voucher ad could be a lot clearer IMO

I asked CRC to price match Merlin over the weekend hoping they might get round to it to enable me to use the voucher before it expired. As this didn't happen I decided to order from Merlin and got a further 10% of the price match, with the VIP discount club.

Ordered late Monday evening, delivered this morning - happy customer
