[Closed] Crankset advice

Hi All

I'm hoping for a bit of advice

My new project is a steel framed - rigid forked - 700c wheeled thing in a hybrid stylee.

Its looking pretty good up to now and I'm not too far off finishing it but i cant decide which crankset to fit to it.

I've fitted a ht2 bb and put my polished xt cranks in but it just looked wrong. The xt's looked a bit fat too tbh

So i put some black raceface cranks in which look pretty good but i always found the raceface system a bit of a faff compared to ht2.

So, the only criteria i have for new cranks for this bike are -
must be black and poss ht2 compatible (oh and 104 bcd would be handy as all my rings are that size)

I have also had a quick look at middleburn cranks which look very nice but they seem like a whole new (expensive) ball game - is that right?

Can anyone recommend me a nice slinky looking black crankset

I was only budgeting around the £60 mark for this but as always, something nice could persuade me to think otherwise.

If nothing comes up i'll just sling a black deore m590 on it.
