One of the threaded hole on a shimano crankset has been cross threaded. Does anyone know aht thread it is so that I can maybe buy a die and retap it?

might be best to helicoil it?

problem is that one (and I can never remember which but think it is NDS) is a reverse thread which complicates things.

Pedal end or crank-removal-tool end?

Sorry, should have been clearer, it is where the inner chainring screws in.

Try threading the pedal in from the opposite side, it might help clear the true side once its far enough in.
