So I've had a real bad day today had to strip my bike down for the 4th time due to warranty there refunding me this time.
But in striping the bike i managed to strip the threads on my cranks (bad moo,time restrictions and old cranks)
Im running a fairly new 9spd system but was going to replace the cranks, can i run a 10sp xt double crank with 9speed mechs,cassette, and shifters.
I know you cant run the rears but is it just a matter of setting the limiters correctly

Should be all fine. I'm running a 10 speed triple crank on my 9 speed drivetrain and shifters
