Anyone tried the latest Mallets?, how do the compare to the older ones which had the spikey bits on steel plates? I tried those and hated them, but the bloke from 2pure called in today with the new brochure and the new ones look better with removable pins.
Looking to replace my ancient red DX's

Are these the same ones that have been out a couple of years (with roller bearings?). Love mine: Ride them unclipped for rocky stuff and clipped for everything else, Loads of float; great for old knees and ankles.
Have changed bearings after 18 months; bearing kit is about £14, so not too bad.

they look the same but instead of the chromed plates at each end (with the grippy bits on) they have threaded pins in them
