What’s peoples experience of these as they seem to fit the bill for what I want .. I love my spds but my riding now sees me getting my wheels off the floor more these days and my 520's don’t really have any platform to assist with landings. I’m not sure I want to just go Flats at the moment these look a good compromise
I have never owned any CB kit as I hear so many instances of going wrong.
Who’s used em and would they recommend ??
I have used Crank bros pedals with no issues for years, and the mallets are no different. Solid and pretty light, go for it.
I'm still running an old style pair of mallets after 8 years.
I have rebuilt them twice in this time (bearings do wear out 🙂 ), but no problems and they're still going strong 🙂
Oh and the new mallets have a 5 year guarantee...

once you start to get some play in the bearings replace them asap
other than that they are ace
