[#1951764]

Not sure about this so thought I'd canvass opinion on here.

I had a bit of a spill on the Cwmcarn DH the other week and when washing my body armour I doscovered I've put a big crack in the plastic shoulder pad.

First thought was to reach for the Duck Tape, but then I considered that maybe the plastic cracking had saved my shoulder from doing the same - and wondered if I ought to stump up for a new suit.

It was a relatively cheap secondhand Brand X one, but it fits me well and I wouldn't have upgraded otherwise.

What would you do?

If the same damage was on your helmet, what would you do?

Your brains aren't in your shoulder though are they?

No they're not, but I quite like my shoulder as it is.

I think I'm going to pony up for a new suit eventually. I fancy one of those T-shirt shape ones.

Although the same one I have now is only £40 on CRC - which is very reasonable.

Hmmm.

Just thought: Maybe I'll have a go at fixing it with that Sugru stuff everyone is talking about.
