We’re going on our first Alps trip in a week, flying to Geneva then transferring to La Clusaz. Been looking into covid entry requirements for Switzerland and France. Switzerland there are no covid entry requirements but France does and my 2nd jab was over 9 months ago. Question is do they check stuff at the border between countries?
I flew into Nice last week, then was in and out of Italy. Saw no sign of Covid checks anywhere.
I fly into and out of GVA regularly (and live down the road from La Clusaz) and there are no checks any more of any Covid documentation either at the airport or at the French border.
Great stuff, cheers
Same here but Dover-Calais ferry nobody asked.
We have been through France, Switzerland, Italy and now back in France. Nothing been checked apart from passport at the Tunnel
Went to France last month Portsmouth to le harve and missed my ferry because they made me get tested as I Haven’t had the booster.
Absolutely everyone else I know hasn’t shown a covid pass anywhere else.
Can’t say I was impressed given I could have been traveling with the rest of the family who could have been positive at the time, but the rules are the rules I guess.
