I recently bought a new cove stiffee. 2009 Easton tubes forged drop outs vintage.
All 'evidence' (cove website, silverfish FAQ etc) indicates a 30.0mm seatpost.
Bought a thomson 30.0mm seatpost
However it feels ridiculously loose. I'm used to having to 'work' a seatpost slightly to get it up or down when the seat clamp is undone. This one practically drops itself in.
Any similar experiences?
Cove Stiffee here as well, have tried LOTS of 30mm posts with it and they all fitted perfectly (altough never tried a Thomson).
RaceFace Deus seems particularly good, worth a try (imho).
Just nipped out to check mine and of course it's 30mm. I'm using a Race Face Deus XC but I had previously used a Ritchey Pro without any issues. My Frame is from 2009 also.
