Any suggestions from the floor...

Have got some riding chums in town this weekend and thinking of taking them for a reasonable sized day out on Saturday. On previous weekends we've done Cwm Carn, Afan, Princetown, bit of the Quantocks, bit of the mendips round cheddar, that sort of thing.

Brief I have been given this time is natural loop please. Now given that its been a tad damp of late does anyone have a good idea of a loop that wont be a mud bath. Don't mind driving up to 90mins-ish in any direction.

Anyone?

Most of the localish stuff (Mendips, Bath, Glos) will be muddy. I'd go for another bit of the Quantocks.

I'd go for the Quantocks, it has been tipping down but the drainage is pretty good, especially if you like riding in streams!

If you have a trawl through the archives here you'll find some good routes, or just DIY it as it's pretty much all good.

Quantocks - great choice!

Thanks guys, trails were dry enough (I even saw real life dust and heat haze at one point) and weather was cracking ๐Ÿ™‚
