Any one else suffer with this after a cold ride? I've rode from my girlfriend this morning about 4'30 am freezing temperature , the ride home is only about 4 mile with one good climb immediately out her door. I've got home and began to cough for about 30 min and I'm still wheezing now. My fitness is not great at minute but this is something i suffered when i was super fit. Any advice or experience with this

Go and buy a peak flow Meyer.

use before and after exercise. If the figure drops after your fooled.

Well alternatively go and see your GP

If peak flow is lower after exercise could be asthma...

(not that Im a doc, or remotely know what I am on about)

Standard, 'I'm not a doctor' disclaimer.

I get this when it's particularly cold or if I've been off the bike for a while. In my case got told by a doctor (albeit a friend, didn't make an appointment) that it's basically because you use your lung capacity to a greater extent and this tends to cause coughing as a result of colder air and increased activity.

Also get thicker phlegm in those situations and again it's basically the system being flushed out after a period of inactivity.

Your results may vary etc. etc.
