How much travel do you give up?
Can a 130mm travel lefty be converted to run as 100mm 29er travel?

Dead easy. Depending on your tyre, you'll lose either 20mm or 30mm of travel. It's just a case of clipping the spacers onto the shaft thingy. Yep, 130mm should be fine as a 100mm (with three spacers).
