Tiny..

A conti 2.3 is like a 1.9 on decent tyres...

They're a decent all round tyre that'll see you all right for most conditions, it's not huge, but it is that skinny either. If they have a weakness; they can be a bit skittish with too much air in them

Worst tyre I ever used. Dangerous. Unpredictable break away. Still got one somewhere. You can have it for free.

Really like it, find them very predictable and reasonably fast, come up very slightly larger then my 2.1 fire xc

Mud!
If they had a weakness it would be mud!!! A slick tyre would probably be more predictable in damper conditions!!!
Other than that, a good tyre...

Are they better then the 2.2 MK. Or should I say stronger on the side walls.

I really liked them, had a ghettto blow out which ditched me off, apart from that I think they are a good 1 tyre for all year. No they are not a mud tyre, but they aren't advertised as one, I put on trailwreckers when its bad, They also shed the mud they do pick up very quickly. Good cornering and predictable breakaway, didnt puncture any worse then anything . Used mine with slime tube s and didnt pncture for months.
light for the size although not a full 2.3 , roll well at 25 psi if your not a tubber or into smashing through rock gardens

try the Maxxis Ignitor instead, not too dis-similar if you like that design

I ride them, they are fine. Predictable grip and ride well in most conditions.

Has one pair last me 3 years.

They arent as wide as a standard 2.3 but they aren't anywhere near a 1.9.

Try 'em!

Great tyres if you don't mind your wheels moving around under you but in a predictable way. Awful tyres if you want lots of grip until the point where they suddenly start to slide.

I like them personally but i do a lot of mud riding so don't mind my wheels moving around.

I like them, they're a good all-rounder, I think they're very good on dry hardpack. Get draggy when they wear though, the side knobs come into play a bit more then.

Impressed by dev's convictions though - he's offering to give one away free!

Hated them. Rolled quite well in a straight line and were light.Twitchy something awful on loose rock and on roots. Unlike clubber, I found that they drifted ok, but broke unpredictably and suddenly. Very suddenly.

I prefer Michelin all mountains - a friend has introduced them to me at the end of this winter - they're much better on roots and rocks, happily move around in mud - which is actually a useful thing, and are much more predictable on the drift, and on the initial break.
