Oh yeah they're horrifically expensive. I'm just sucking it up as part of a very expensive bike build anyway, but would probably think twice otherwise!

Rate the 2.2" UST's - as good if not better than Nobby Nics.

I found the 2.2s good up until I ripped a knob off one, and some of the surrounding carcass. It's now exposed down to the threaded bits inside, and the tyre is a write off with lots of tread left. Could just be unlucky, but figured I'd throw it out there for consumption.
