Planning on riding from Mallaig to Fort Bill and was looking at popping off road at Glenfinnan and down to cona glen and along that way... only thing is i have heard varying reports as to whether the land owner allows bike access?
Not that i am sure they can even do that given it is a marked right of way and the access legisalation in scotland etc....
Anyway, any clarification would be G-reat!

Its Scotland - your access relies on two things - being reasonable and repecting privacy. That route would be fine on both counts. In practice I walked some of it a few years ago and my memory is that the single track is rather faint so might well be a hike a bike
