anyone been to comrie croft trails?

Is it worth a visit - is there enough to keep me amused for maybe a half day or so?

Worth a visit if you're in the area - but you'll need to do a lot of laps to occupy you for half a day. Trails arent armoured so more of a "natural" rooty techy feel but means some bits can be a bit more muddy than the GT crowd are happy with. Graded as a red but a couple of steep chutes are more like some of the Drumlanrig black

There are other trails in the area - though apart from one or 2 bits are more scenic than technical - the guys there will give you some ideas

Lovely trail - you'd need to do it a few times

Nice for an afternoon if you're passing by. As said earlier quite short so you'll be doing a few circuits, but then agani that's probably no bad thing as its got a few wee suprises so is probably a bit more fun 2nd and 3rd time round.

If you're that way you're better off going to Loch Turret

Ive done it and didnt really enjoy it sorry, some of it was a bit too technical for me, especially the river cross at the bottom of a steep, off-camber approach.

Been once, probably wont go back, unless I get a full susser which may make it easier.

Bit of a huge slog up landrover tracks at the start too which i dont remember enjoying.

Some people like it but it just wasn't for me.

I always enjoy it - the trails have a natural feel to them, as if they've been developed by riding rather than by machine.
The views are nice too.

After the initial climb we tend to do a double figure-of-eight before descending back to the croft. Takes about two hours with natter stops.
