A couple of years ago when I had some money I replaced my clapped shoes with two pairs, one being fairly stiff and light for events and the other burly and comfy for the sort of deathmarch across trackless moors my mates specialise in.The trouble with buying two pairs at the same time is they wear out at the same time and I really don't now have any money to buy 2. What shoes are comfortable enough for walking across said trackless moors and yet stiff enough to pedal well?
[and don't cost a mint]

I'm testing some keen springwaters atm(i test stuff for keen) fit that bill i reckon def walkable and not bad for power transfer, good tread, engages well, light and comfy . that said im using these for long days in the hills with walking and my carbon soled sidis for anything else. i do prefer a stiff sole generally.
