Are they any good or just hype? Has anyone on here used them and if so did they help with those achy legs. Thanks for any contributions.

A mate has a pair seems to like them for long rides, they come across a bit 'emperors new clothes' to me though.

I'd give them a go if they were cheap/free.

Check out the website there is some pretty sound reseach to support there cause. Would love to get some myself but £120 for a set of padded tights is something my wallet will just not stretch to.

I have a pair that I use for recovery and yes they seem to work. I got them for transwales last year and I got through the week which I think they did help with. They aren't cheap but then no more expensive than a pair of torusers, I put them on after long rides and the next day I certainly experience less leg soreness.

I get really sore legs as well and I'm considering trying a pair of compression shorts. Not at £120 though! Have been looking at these - £33 for the shorts seems reasonable - http://www.sportsshoes.com/skins/ although havn't actually got off my ass to buy them yet.

Isn't this the start of a slippery slope ? First mantyhose, then a truss, then some nice crutches and big bag of precautionary viagra...

I have this belief that one's body should be sufficient to itself
