The best 4 weeks of my life. I finished my finals 2 days before the opening game (Cameroon beating Argentina just added to it); I graduated the day of the world cup final. In between - we just played football all day, and drank beer and watched every game. The sun shone, I've never laughed so much. Stone Roses on the car tape player as we drove to the beach. World in Motion every 5th song on the radio.
Absolute highlight was Platty's goal against Belgium. Motty screaming 'England have done it! In the last minute of extra time!'
I'm not normally one for hankering after the past, but if I could live those 4 weeks again......
