Sorry for the long post...
I'd like to steer my work in a more specific direction.ie Bespoke projects.. I currently do a lot of landscaping which involves building Summerhouses, Pergolas, Decking, fencing etc. Every now and again bespoke is called for and this is the direction that I'd like to take. The reason for building non " off-the-shelf " items or taking on bespoke projects is that 1. they can be designed with the client if they so wish and therefore remain personal, ( Imagination knows no boundaries ) 2. Both quality and longevity can, in most instances, be improved upon.
Everything from sustainable sources..
So basically I'm after a name for my business. Unfortunately 'Amazing Spaces' ( George Clarkes tv programme ) would probably get copyright issues
I was thinking something along the lines of Creative Spaces, or Urban Living, Urban designs etc..
your thoughts please.

Manscaping would appeal to the ' Man Cave ' brigade but doesn't say ' contemplation room '..
True, but do you really need a company name that is so literal? You paint yourself into a corner if you go for a 'say what you see' name.
You could go for a name which you like, and have a tag line that does the 'amazing spaces' bit.

Maybe I'm oldfashioned but I like it when you can tell what a company does. Urban Living sounds like a clothes shop.

You have to think about your target market and what sort of key wording and messages appeal to them. From the sounds of it outer commuter belt high earners in the shires looking for top finish and some personal touches, they're going to like words like "crafted", " bespoke ", " artisan" but don't lay it on too thick...

I like the idea of using related words like " knot " ..could be used in a catchphrase. .

Don't bother with some name you might wish you never chose in a year or two. Just use your own name with what you do after it.
I'm more likely to use/trust someone who's prepared to put their family name to their business.
