Just bought a shiny new trek 8000 with insurance money, need to geta rear rack on the back for commuting, its got wishbone stays with now rack mounts any options without damaging the frame?
Tubus do various mounting kits - using the axle or other gadgets - you can also get seat clamps with mounting points built in
also oldmanmountain do a rack and extended skewer that supports directly on the axle and bolts to the vbrake studs (if you have them, if not the seatclamp with integrated mounting points as TJ suggests). not cheap, mind.

not expensive, ask your friendly LBS to order one for you. Or I think Madison do one too (as M:Part) for around the same price - under a tenner.

carradice do old man mountain.
give them a bell.
sorted my mate out recently with a rack that mounts to extended axle and p clips round the seatstays. It's a lot more solid than i thought it'd be. he took a shitload of stuff on recent SDW trip and it had no trouble.
