Evening all. Looking at ordering one through crc, but trying one first is virtually impossible. According to the size charts I fall in between M and L at 5.10. Most reviews say go medium. I currently ride a stumpy fsr in large which on paper is slightly bigger than the meta in large, and I've also ridden the stumpy 29r in large which felt fine. Anyone ridden both to compare?

I've gone from the horizontal tt measurements on both and also the 29r stumpy that I've ridden. Head and seat angles are the same so there shouldn't be anything weird there. I like a longer bike, but the comments on the reviews were concerning me as pretty much everyone recommended a medium. And yes, a test ride would solve it. I can always send it back to crc but it's easier to get it right the first time!
