And shouting "Come on Liz!" out of the windowas she barrelled past Woppit Towers in the just-formed 3-rider breakaway...
We were on the edge of our seats for the last 3km and the other half doesnt even like cycling - yet she watched most of the race.
I thought the women's race was really interesting to watch, I saw almost the whole thing. Well done to Lizzie Armitstead and to Emma Pooley and Nicole Cooke too for their work back in the peloton.
I watched the men's race too, I thought the women's race the more interesting of the two. More going on.
