I've noticed that some fat and semi-skimmed rims have coloured strips in the cut outs. Does anybody know where to buy coloured tape that would be suitable for a mulefoot rim.
Asking for a friend, no way would I be that sad ๐ณ
I use white Surly Rim Strips on the Mulefut rims on my Fatty. 64mm width IIRC (the next to largest size).
You can use pretty much any flexible material, and then just lay the standard strip over it. Or variations on that theme- mine is just really wide electric tape, it's both visible tape and tubeless tape for lightness. Because obviously saving a few grams off the rim strip is essential before you fit a 1600g tyre.
Mine just came from GafferTape.com
Used fattystripper.com rim strips as well as the latex sealing stuff. But that was because i couldn't get duck tape to seal without a shed load of sealant.

Cheers all. I'll have a look around and see what craziness is available.
